What We Saw at InfoComm 2025: The Future of Commercial AV Is Here
InfoComm 2025 wrapped up in Orlando, and our team at Teer Audio Visual was on the floor to experience it firsthand. As a commercial AV integrator serving clients across Central Florida, we attend InfoComm to stay ahead of the curve — exploring the latest technologies, meeting with our partners, and evaluating which innovations are worth bringing to our clients’ next AV projects.
If you're wondering what’s next in audio visual technology, the answer is smarter control, cleaner sound, immersive visuals, and flexible collaboration. These new audio-visual tools are built around usability, scalability, and real-world performance.
What Is InfoComm and Why We Attended
InfoComm is the largest pro AV trade show in North America, hosted by AVIXA and packed with the most respected names in commercial audio visual technology. InfoComm is where AV manufacturers reveal what’s coming next. From control systems and digital signage to microphones, cameras, LED walls, and interactive collaboration tools.
Our team walked the show floor to test the newest gear from industry leaders, all with one question in mind: What solutions will actually help our clients create better, more flexible, and future-proof AV environments?
Audio: Shure and Sennheiser Set the Standard
Sennheiser showcased updates to its TeamConnect Ceiling Medium (TCC M), a smaller version of the TCC 2 that still delivers intelligent beamforming and Dante connectivity. This is a great fit for mid-size meeting rooms or classrooms looking for clean installations and crystal-clear voice capture. This audio solutions is leading the way in hybrid conference room microphone systems.
Control: Crestron and Q-SYS Make Smart Rooms Smarter
Crestron continues to evolve its control ecosystem with the latest Crestron AirMedia enhancements which stood out. They enable true wireless conferencing with better performance across Teams, Zoom, and BYOD platforms.
Q-SYS (a.k.a QSC) unveiled their Core 610 network processor, pushing the boundaries for software-based control and audio/video routing. Combined with their scalable peripherals, it’s clear Q-SYS is doubling down on modular AV system design for enterprise environments.
These platforms give us more ways to design intelligent AV control systems that respond to user needs without overwhelming them.
Video: MAXHUB and Brightsign Lead the Way
We spent time with MAXHUB, who featured their latest V6 ViewPro Series displays — sleek all-in-one solutions with built-in cameras, microphones, and speakers. These are ideal for executive boardrooms or high-visibility meeting spaces where design and performance need to align.
BrightSign impressed us with the launch of their XC5 media player series, designed to handle 8K output and complex multi-screen signage. Their commitment to fast deployment and remote content management makes them a go-to for digital signage projects across healthcare, education, and retail.
Collaboration: BARCO and Neat Push Hybrid to the Next Level
BARCO showcased their ClickShare Bar (one of our best sellers), a hybrid video bar with camera and speaker integration that transforms meeting spaces into wireless collaboration hubs. It also syncs perfectly with the ClickShare CX-50 Gen 2, offering smart switching between in-room and remote modes.
Meanwhile, Neat continues to lead in Zoom and Microsoft Teams room design with their Neat Board 50 — a powerful 4K touchscreen built for flexible collaboration. Their clean aesthetic and plug-and-play simplicity are a great match for fast-paced, hybrid workplaces.
Immersive Displays: LED Walls and Holographic Screens from MUXWAVE and Newline
MUXWAVE showcased its MUXWAVE Mesh LED, a lightweight, bendable LED solution that’s perfect for creative retail displays and digital environments where visibility and style matter. Its ultra-thin, transparent design opens up new possibilities for non-traditional LED screen installations.
Newline introduced an immersive display solution designed for interactive retail, architectural signage, and high-end commercial environments. These modern-style screens blur the line between display and design.
Lighting: Performance Grade Fixtures
Lighting made a strong showing at InfoComm 2025, especially for AV professionals working in concert production, houses of worship, and live event spaces. Brands like Elation Professional, Chauvet Professional, and others showcased advances in DMX lighting control systems. These innovations offer more flexibility, better performance, and simpler setups for clients focused on stage design, worship lighting, and immersive live experiences.
