Lady Lake Public Library
Lady Lake Library's renovation turned a library into a modern learning center brought to you by Teer Audio Visual
Lady Lake Public Library is a cornerstone for learning in Lady Lake, Florida. With demand growing for digital programs, hybrid spaces, and education-focused activities, the library expanded its facility with a brand-new second floor. It features classrooms, collaboration areas, and flexible event spaces.
To make these rooms truly functional, they needed a complete audiovisual infrastructure that would be packed with reliable presentation tools, clear audio pickup, intuitive controls, and a unified digital signage network. Teer Audio Visual was selected to integrate every AV system across the expansion and tie it all together into a seamless, easy-to-manage environment.
The library wanted technology that staff and visitors could walk into and use immediately. Their goals included:
– Clear, natural audio for classes, lectures, hybrid meetings, and public speaking
– Modern displays and projectors for presentations and instruction
– Wireless collaboration from Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) laptops and tablets
– Digital signage that could be updated quickly
– A scalable AV backbone using high-end network switches
– Centralized control that keeps everything consistent across the new building
To reach these goals, Teer Audio Visual built a full Q-SYS, ClearOne, Samsung, BrightSign, Barco, and Aurora-powered ecosystem.
Meeting Room 124 was equipped with a 75-inch Samsung display, wireless presentation via Barco ClickShare, and networked video transport through Aurora VPX devices. All microphones, including ClearOne wireless goosenecks and a handheld option, run on Dante into a QSC Core 8 Flex. The Core provides echo cancellation, auto-mixing, and routing for both in-room discussions and remote participants. JBL ceiling loudspeakers, powered by a QSC SPA2-60 amplifier, fill the room evenly. A Tascam recorder allows staff to capture lectures or community meetings, and a Netgear managed switch ties the entire room into the building’s AV-over-IP network.
Conference Room 115 uses a simpler setup for quick meetings and BYOD conferencing. A Samsung display paired with a Logitech MeetUp creates a reliable solution for video calls. All public lobbies and hallways received updated Samsung commercial displays running on BrightSign hardware, creating a unified digital signage network that staff can update instantly with events, announcements, and wayfinding information.
The second-floor multi-purpose Room 208 required a more advanced solution because it hosts workshops, public presentations, and hybrid events. Here we installed a high-brightness projector, a Maxhub interactive podium, ClearOne wireless handhelds and headsets, a QSC TSC-70 touch panel for simplified control, and a QSC Core 8 Flex for processing. The Barco C-10 system adds wireless presentation for classes and visiting groups.
Large Meeting Room 219 mirrors that approach but on a bigger scale. Dual projectors, multi-mic wireless audio, QSC network amplifiers, and QSC PTZ cameras prepare the room for anything. Aurora encoders and decoders carry video over the network, while Barco wireless sharing keeps the space flexible for outside presenters. Because this room will host many different event styles, we also prepped the infrastructure for future expansion.
For interactive collaboration, Room 220 received a mobile 86-inch ViewSonic ViewBoard with an integrated PC and wireless connectivity. It can be rolled anywhere within the building, giving staff a flexible teaching tool for classes, workshops, or small-group programs. This was a highlight of the project because it is essentially a giant tablet with an intuitive touchscreen interface.
Finally, we assisted in optimizing the conferencing capabilities of office spaces. Lady Lake Public Library now has a complete, networked AV system that supports teaching, hybrid collaboration, digital communication, and community programming. All of the hardware is both future-proof and scalable to support the community’s growing educational and technological needs for years to come.
