Orlando Advanced Tech Health Building
Oct 15, 2018
Orlando Health has a huge new project in store, expected to open on New Year’s Day 2019. The new project is called the Orlando Health Team Member Center, and it is located at 55 W Gore in downtown Orlando. The hospital’s support staff will be based out of this building. The base concept is to have new buildings and offices for the hospital support staff.
This is one of our biggest projects this year! Teer used a variety of products to make this one of the most technologically advanced buildings for collaboration. We are doing new video conferencing rooms and five suites, as well as a training center and presentation center on the first floor. We’re putting in five full video teleconferencing systems, and integrating Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Q-SYS systems implementation.
Products Implemented
The QSC DSP Core Processor 110f has layer 3 networking, which ensures Q-SYS can run on the backbone of existing IT infrastructure eliminating the need for a dedicated audio network. It utilizes Intel processing and the capabilities of Q-SYS software-based processing and control transcends the limitations found in a single purpose, hardware-based products.
The QSC TSC-7T Touch panel is a Q-SYS native touchscreen controllers allow for use of control and these network capacitive PoE touch screens display fully customizable user control interface (UCI).
The QSC PTZ IP Cameras are conference cameras that deliver professional quality conference video feeds alongside industry-leading audio processing
The Crestron DMPS 4k 350 C Media Presentation Processor provides a complete 4K AV presentation control and signal routing solution for boardrooms and classrooms. It integrates the control system, matrix switcher, video scaler, streaming decoder, mic mixer, audio DSP, amplifier, and Digital Media distribution center all into a single 3-space rackmount package
The Crestron TSW 1060 Touch Panel is a space-saving wall, lectern, tabletop, or rack mount touchscreen featuring a clean, contemporary appearance with edge-to-edge glass and advanced high-definition Smart Graphics
The Polycom Real Presence Group Series 500 provides enterprise-grade video conferencing, voice and collaboration experiences to accelerate decision-making and foster innovation. Users can share content up to 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second - video clips, CAD animations, medical diagrams, or anything else you can dream up. With its Eagle Eye Producer, it uses innovative facial-tracking algorithms to accurately frame all room participants, or focus on the person speaking.
The Shure MXA910 was covered in a previous blog! This is a steerable ceiling microphone that uses up to 8 separate lobes to capture sound sources from above more accurately than any other product.
The Shure QLXD wireless mic set delivers defined, streamlined performance with transparent 24-bit digital audio.
We’re happy to be of help with the new Team Member building, and we hope it serves the people of Orlando Health well!
