SENSES Park

All children deserve safe and interactive play spaces, that is why it is so important to have inclusive playgrounds. All-inclusive playgrounds and parks allow children of all abilities to play, learn, and grow with one another. Having a sensory-rich space enables children to develop physically, socially, and emotionally. These engaging play spaces even help adults interact with their children in a more meaningful way. Understanding the importance of all-inclusive playgrounds for the community, Teer Audio Visual helped the SENSES Park project.

SENSES Park is believed to be the first of its kind in Florida and is located at 296 Camelia Drive, Kissimmee Florida, 34743. The park allows kids to express themselves through music allowing them to play drums, xylophones, and marimba which are all incorporated into the play area. Subtle sensory and play areas are also available, including hidden dinosaur bones in the sandbox for children to find. There is a wheelchair accessible merry-go-round, a small hill to climb and roll down, and other interactive and exciting play equipment. Teer Audio Visual provided the soothing soundscapes that can be heard throughout the park that helps promote brain development. SENSES Park was created with every child in mind and we were happy to be apart of such a project that gives back to the community.

Teer Audio Visual hopes SENSES Park sparks the conversation of creating more all-inclusive play spaces and parks throughout our community. The impact that these spaces have on children and their families is important and should widely available.
